Tic Tac Tic Tac
Tic Tac Tic Tac...
The countdown has begun!
After a winter season spent wrapped up in our down jackets, putting hats on our ears, putting on mittens and stuffing ourselves with hot chocolate or chestnut cream pancakes... February 7th is the end of the sales and the last straight line to take advantage of their good deals.
Of course, the temperatures are not yet scorching but the days are getting longer ... Yes, I assure you, since December 22!
I don't know about you, but it makes me want to go to the stores to discover all the new collections that are slowly coming out.
But be careful not to fall into the trap ... Risk of cracking not always rational just because the desire for renewal and the fantasy of the good summer look pushes us to purchases that we could regret! Do you know what I mean?
We give you some tips to make, in this almost end of winter, purchases of spring pieces that you will not regret having bought when the time comes to put them!
1/ We take a look in our closets
We sort, we give, we sell, we recycle too...( second hand, it's not only made for others! ) Marie Kondo may stop tidying - no big deal - we make room for newcomers and that we love the idea !!!! 🤩
This will remind you of the little floral dress you bought on sale last summer and have never worn yet !!!! Or avoid buying yet another sky blue shirt!!!
2/ We check that we have all the basics
Essential before buying the "fashion" favorites of the season. First, we buy "the bottom of the shelf" and then, only then, we buy the strong pieces! Otherwise, we never know what to wear them with and they stay in the closet.
3/ The trend > Fashion....
Attention, it is not because it is the fashion that it suits you... We listen to the saleswoman when she suggests another model or another cut... Her advice is often judicious!
4/ We establish a budget
I know, it's not the most fun... It can even be frustrating but it's NECESSARY! Your banker will be grateful and so will you at the end of the month.
5/ The killer question "What will I wear it with?"
If nothing in your wardrobe goes with it, you don't buy! Even if it's not expensive, we leave in the shelf the "it's not expensive, I'll see what to wear with it"... Result, we never wear it. It is thus a bad purchase, one passes, one avoids....In the end, it is better to buy less, but better.
