The Hermitage Hotel

Located only 15 minutes from downtown Lyon, at the top of Mont Cindre (Saint Cyr au Mont d'Or), in a green environment, L'Ermitage Hotel 4 stars and its restaurant "Cuisine-à-manger" offer breathtaking views. The panoramic views of Lyon, the Fourvière hill and the Monts d'Or are an invitation to escape and contemplate.

At L'Ermitage Hotel, Gandhi's phrase "you have better things to do with your life than to speed it up" takes on its full meaning. The atmosphere of the place is intimately linked to its history, where hermits succeeded one another until the middle of the 20th century, thus giving the site its name.

Taking your time and replacing the "more" with the "better" are part of the spirit of the place; "to find yourself to be better".

Rough concrete walls, oak floors, curtains evoking monks' robes, wall lights made from old locks... An almost monastic minimalism that is perfectly assumed and calls for contemplation. From the "Contemplatives" to the "Belvédère", most of the rooms offer a panoramic view over Lyon and the Mont d'Or.
